For us, sustainability is more than just a promise. By using regional energy, minimising transport distances and implementing innovative solutions, we are helping to preserve the natural environment of the Bavarian Forest – so that future generations can also enjoy its beauty.
Our hotel is powered by electricity from our own photovoltaic system and heated using sustainable forest energy from the Bodenmais biomass heating plant. Wood waste from regional forestry operations is processed into wood chips and provides environmentally friendly heat. In addition, we utilise the heat recovery system from our on-site brewery to efficiently heat part of our wellness area.
This way, you can enjoy your holiday at the Adam Bräu with peace of mind – in harmony with the natural surroundings of the Bavarian Forest.

Our hotel is powered by electricity generated by our own solar panel system.
Heat from the forest
We heat our premises using sustainable forest energy from the Bodenmais biomass power station – sourced from regional wood waste.
Heat from the brewery
We use the heat from our in-house brewery to heat part of the spa area.
